Andover Coronavirus Update: Just 5 Active Cases, 48 Total Deaths

Massachusetts entered phase two, part two of its reopening Monday, with indoor dining permitted at restaurants.

ANDOVER, MA — Just five of Andover's 305 total coronavirus cases remain active, the town reported Monday. Forty-eight residents have died, while 252 patients have recovered.

The state's phase two, part two reopening began Monday, with indoor dining at restaurant and more indoor services, including nail care and massage therapy, permitted.

As of Friday, the town's basketball courts remain closed, but almost all the other recreation facilities are open. Registration for summer recreation programs are open.

The Dog Park, tennis and pickleball courts, Andover High School track and playgrounds are open. Pomps Pond opens June 29.
