Andover Coronavirus Updates: "Light Up Andover" Contest

Andover residents are decorating their houses to spread cheer and support those working through the coronavirus closure.

ANDOVER, MA — Andover is hosting a "Light Up Andover" contest to support "those who are working to keep Andover safe." Residents are encouraged to decorate their homes and contact the town manager with their address. The town will award gift cards to local businesses to winning entries.

The first prize will get a $250 gift card, second prize $100 and third prize $50. Residents should email Town Manager Andrew Flanagan at manager@andoverma.gov by April 3rd to enter their address.

"The idea came organically as a result of the community coming together and wanting to do something positive," Flanagan said. "The response has been overwhelming. People are really excited to participate."
