Andover Garden Club Presents Holiday House Tour & Boutique
Andover Garden Club Hard at Work Preparing for December 8 "Evergreens, Holly & Joy: A Tour of Andover Homes in Holiday Dress"

The Andover Garden Club is hard at work with the final preparations for “Evergreens, Holly & Joy: A Tour of Andover Homes in Holiday Dress”—the first holiday house tour the club has held since 2005. The event will feature seven beautifully decorated Andover homes, as well as a holiday boutique.
Plans for decorating the individual houses have been in the works for months, with most of the actual installation to take place in the coming week before the tour. Meanwhile, members have been working individually and in groups at workshops to create lovely handmade items to be sold in the holiday boutique.
“This house tour brings together all our members in a joint effort of creativity and camaraderie,” said Tina Girdwood, president of the Andover Garden Club. “It's a wonderful opportunity to express the holiday spirit in floral designs that reflect the individual homes.”

“We are so fortunate in Andover to have a wide variety of architectural styles and historic homes that have been well maintained,” said Heather Moody Holman, vice president. “All the homes on the tour are beautiful to begin with and will be enhanced with unique decorations designed and created by our members. People love house tours because they can garner ideas for decorating their own homes.”
