Andover Health Department Offing Flu Shot Clinics
Andover will offer a flu shot clinic for seniors on Oct. 3 and 5 and a town-wide flu shot clinic on Nov. 7.
ANDOVER, MA -- The Andover Health Department is offering a series of flu shot clinics, including two for people over the age of 65 next month and one for any resident in November. The Center for Disease Control recommends that everyone over the age of six months get a flu shot every year to help prevent the spread of influenza.
The senior clinics are for people over the age of 65 and will be offered on Oct. 3 and 5 from 9 am to noon at the Cormier Youth Center at 40 Whittier Court. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling the Health Department at 978-623-8640 or by sending an e-mail to health@andoverma.gov. The senior clinics will offer the high-dose version of the flu vaccine.
