Andover Man Arrested In Connection To Randolph Shooting

Erolw Pope-Foster, 25, is accused of trying to firing two shoots in a dispute over a car sale with a Woburn man.

RANDOLPH, MA -- Randolph police say an Andover man fired two shots during an argument over a car sale Monday. Erolw Pope-Foster, 25, was charged with armed assault to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded firearm without a license and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. Neither shot hit the Woburn man police say Pope-Foster was arguing with.

According to the Eagle-Tribune, which first reported this story, police were called to an apartment building in Randolph to investigate a report of shots fired. The two men had been arguing over the price of a car the Woburn man was trying to sell. During an ensuing fight, Pope-Foster fired twice at the man. Police found Pope-Foster hiding behind the apartment building.
