ANDOVER, MA -- An Andover man is facing multiple charges after being arrested on multiple charges Thursday. Andover Police executed a search warrant at an apartment at 800 Bullfinch Drive and arrested Radhames Antonio Dias-Jimenez, 25, on charges of trafficking fentanyl, possession of a firearm without a license, identity theft and distribution of fentanyl.

During the search, police seized 150 grams of suspected fentanyl, a handgun and $7,791 in cash. The search was conducted as part of an "extensive, ongoing investigation" by Andover Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration's Cross Border program.

"This was a significant arrest and seizure that results in the removal of a significant amount of a deadly opioid from potentially reaching members of our community or surrounding communities," Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe said. "I'm proud of the cooperative effort that went into this successful investigation."
