Andover Man Charged with Cocaine Sales in Portsmouth, N.H.

Portsmouth, N.H. Police arrested an Andover man on drug charges last week following an investigation into the sale of narcotics in the city.
Jose Torres, 33, of 264 Waverly Ave., Apt. #1, Andover, was charged Friday with three felony counts of sales of a controlled drug (cocaine). He was arrested by the Epping Police Department and is awaiting arraignment.
The Portsmouth Police Department worked in conjunction with the following agencies during the investigation and arrest: the New Hampshire Department of Probation and Parole, New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force (U.S. Marshals), the Strafford County Sheriffs Office, the Rockingham County Sheriffs Office, Epping Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
