Andover Man Pinned Under Tree He Cut Down
The 81-year-old man was freed from the tree but suffered cardiac arrest in the hospital. He was revived at the hospital.

ANDOVER, MA — An 81-year-old man was pinned under a tree that he was cutting down at his home Saturday afternoon.
Andover Fire Rescue Chief Michael Mansfield said firefighters responded to the victim's Gray Road home to him face down with the tree pinning down his left arm and leg.
The victim was conscious and speaking as firefighters cute him free. He suffered cardiac arrest while inside an ambulance, which was diverted to Lawrence General Hospital, where he was revived.

The victim was being stabilized in preparation of being flown to a Boston hospital.
