Andover Memorial Parade And Ceremony Canceled
The town joins North Andover in going without a Memorial parade this year, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
ANDOVER, MA — Andover's annual Memorial Day celebration has been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. The in-person parade and ceremony have been replaced with a virtual ceremony.
Memorial Day is May 25.
The virtual ceremony can be watched through Andover TV, at AndoverTV.org, on Comcast Channel 12, or Verizon Channel 45. It will be broadcast four times, at 7:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The ceremony will be followed by last year's parade.
The town joins other local communities, including North Andover, in concluding an in-person parade is impossible under social distancing conditions.
