Andover Police Respond To Drug Incidents At Local Schools

The incident at Andover High School was the 10th police have responded to this school year.

ANDOVER, MA -- Police issued by-law violations and notified parents of two Andover High School students after school officials found THC oil and a small amount of marijuana. Police were called to the school at 9:08 am on June 1. It was the tenth time police had been called to the school for suspected drug infractions this school year.

Andover Police also responded to a drug incident at Greater Lawrence Tech on River Road at 8:59 am on May 31, according to the Andover Townsman, which first reported this story. In that incident, a parent turned in a white substance that had been found in a student's Lawrence home. Police believe the substance was fentanyl.
