The town has released information on the schedule and deadlines for upcoming Annual Town Meeting.
ANDOVER, MA — Annual Town Meeting will begin April 28 at the Collins Center for the Performing Arts at Andover High School and will continue until April 30, if needed.
"Town Meeting serves as Andover's legislative body, and is responsible for approving the Towns budget, zoning changes, amendments to Town bylaws, and other important community decisions," according to the town. "Andover has a proud tradition of open Town Meeting, meaning that all registered voters have the right to attend, speak, and vote. It is a uniquely New England institution with roots dating back centuries, and one that gives residents a direct and meaningful voice in how their community is governed."
