Andover Reports 19 Active Cases, Moderate Risk Designation

ANDOVER, MA — Andover has 19 active coronavirus cases, the town reported Friday. The school district reported three cases.

The current cases are the most the town has seen in months, and bring the cumulative total to 393. Fifty-nine residents have died of the virus.

The town became a "moderate risk" community this week, with more than four cases per 100,000 over the last two weeks. The town will report updated numbers every weekday until it returns to the "low risk" classification.

Andover High School, West Middle School and the School Administration each have one case, the district reported Friday.
