Andover Reports 35 Coronavirus-Related Deaths
The town began reporting death totals Friday, when the case total hit 269.
ANDOVER, MA — Thirty-five Andover residents have died with coronavirus, the town reported Friday.
Andover said Friday that it would provide reported death counts on a weekly basis.
Not all reported deaths are necessarily due to the virus, the town noted; they include deaths that occurred while the patient was in isolation following a positive test.

"Coronavirus may or may not have been a contributing factor," the town said.
Another 92 residents have active cases of the virus, while 142 have recovered. A total of 269 residents have tested positive, as of Friday.
