- Tricia Minahan Marchlik Commented on the head boys basketball coach David Fazio being placed on administrative leave in connection with the alleged hazing incident.
She said: People are so angry that this occurred and it seems to many that those in charge, which should be a coach, wasn't paying attention enough. People send their kids to these camps, thinking the kids are kept safe from stuff like this. Someone messed up that this was allowed and Mr Fazio is at the top. Maybe enforcing the laws about hazing and bullying (God, I'm so sick of that word) were not driven home enough to these kids and they took part in it. Again, they need to blame someone and he's in the perfect spot for finger pointing. Did he really not know? Who knows. It's all sad. And at what point are parents of these kids responsible? What these boys did to the other kids is not only absolutely disgusting, but it's also dangerous in terms of it involving the exchange of bodily fluids. When hospital workers deal with other's fluids, they take precautions... these kids put others at extreme risks.

He said: This is disgusting and I hope these two younger students put the full power of the courts against the school, athletic department, the bullies and thier parents, the sports camp and the school superintendent. Wedgies and being put on the water fountain were the height of "hazing" when I was in school. What has become of our schools? The "new and policitally correct" experiment doesn't work.
