Andover, Twitter Partner On Week Of #TweetUps

From Andover Public Schools: Andover Public Schools and the Town of Andover join with Twitter and Shared Studios as they host dozens of connections around the globe through the Andover Portal. There will be a range of connections, from open conversations asking “what’s happening?” to connections engaging a specific topic: Culture as a Conversation, Celebrating Women around the World, and Tweet to Meet.

Shared Studios creates immersive portals across the world, connecting people separated by distance and difference. When you enter, you come face-to-face with someone in a distant portal as though in the same room.

All families are welcome to join us in Andover, Massachusetts

Saturday –July 27, 2019

• Culture as Conversation- connected to Amman Jordan from 10 AM to 12 PM: Individuals and groups in Portals will enter and share music or dance unique to their city. Come jump into conversation about the music that moves you!

In this connection, families — in every sense of the word — come together through Portals for reunions and conversations about family and home. Siblings separated by oceans and borders, school friends that have chosen different paths, former colleagues, study abroad pals, old flames — all are invited into the Portal to reunite, reconnect, and re-engage one another via Portals.
