Andover Votes 2020: Three Ways To Vote In The General Election
Voters can vote by mail, in person early or in person on Election Day.

ANDOVER, MA — With Election Day under a month a way, it's time to figure out how you plan to vote. This year, all Massachusetts voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots early or by mail, if they prefer, although Election Day voting remains an option.
In addition to the presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, Andover voters will also cast ballots in the 18th Essex District state house race between Democrat Tram Nguyen and Republican Jeffrey Dufour, statewide ballot questions and U.S. house and senate races.
Registering to vote:
The registration deadline is Oct. 24.

If you have a state driver's license or ID, you can register online at www.RegisterToVoteMA.com. You can also download mail-in registration forms, which must be post-marked or delivered to town hall in person by Oct. 24.
You can also register in person at the Town Offices, which will be open for extended hours, noon to 8 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 24. Registration forms and a secure drop box will be available in person.

You can send your registration form to the Board of Registrars of Voters, Andover Town Offices, 36 Bartlet St., Andover MA 01810.
You can check your registration online at www.sec.state.ma.us or by calling the town clerk at 978-623-8230.
Mail-in voting:
All voters are also eligible to vote by mail, this year, but you must apply by Oct. 28. You should've received an application from the Secretary of State's office ahead of the state primary. If not, you can download an application online and send it to the town clerk by mail, by email to townclerk@andoverma.us or by using the town drop box.
Electronic applications must have handwritten signatures. Applications are also available at the town offices, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Mail-in ballots should be returned by mail or using the secure drop box at 36 Bartlet St. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. They cannot be directly submitted at in-person voting locations.

All Andover voters can vote early at the Temporary Senior Center located within the Ballard Vale United Church at 23 Clark Road, from Oct. 17 to Oct. 30.

- Sunday, Oct. 18 – 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 19 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 20 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 21 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 22 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 23 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 24 – 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 25 – 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 26 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 27 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 28 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Election day voting:
In-person voting on Nov. 3 will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Precincts 1 and 3: Youth Center at 40 Whittier Court
- Precincts 4, 5 and 6: Wood Hill Middle School at 11 Cross Street
- 2, 7, 7A, 8 and 9: Andover High School Richard J. Collins Field House at 80 Shawsheen Road
