Piano at Methuen: Junwen Liang

A graduate of the Peabody Institute, Junwen Linag is based in Philadelphia and serves on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. Over the past two seasons, Junwen presented more than 50 recitals across North America and China, including debuts at Saint Thomas Church in New York, Boston Court Pasadena, Canada’s Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Music Society, and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. His debut EP, Colombine, featuring works by Amy Beach and Florence Price, was released in June 2026.

His program, entitled “Echoes Across Horizons: American Voices in Classical Piano”, features works by Beach, Price, Still, Hough, Aurandt, and Dun.
