Two outstanding a cappella groups, one collegiate and one high school, bring their engaging styles to the stage of Methuen Memorial Music Hall. The Dartmouth Aires is the tenth-oldest collegiate group in America and one of the nation's eminent a cappella ensembles. They have been singing live, producing albums, and touring the world since their founding in 1946. The group's repertoire features a wide mix of contemporary favorites, traditional Ivy League tunes, sketch comedy, and the occasional piece of opera, performed with a panache guaranteed to please all ages. Jagappella is the premier student-led a cappella ensemble from Windham (NH) High School. Comprised of musicians in grades 9 through 12, Jagappella represents the pinnacle of a continuous, district-wide vocal music pathway starting in kindergarten designed to foster a love of singing and choral music.
