The Andover Choral Society, directed by Michael Driscoll, invites those who enjoy singing fine choral music, to join us for our 88th season. Open rehearsals will be held on Monday, September 18 and Monday, September 25 from 7:20 p.m.-9:30 p.m. at Christ Church, 33 Central Street, Andover.
On Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3pm in the North Andover High School auditorium, the chorus will perform “A Voice from Heaven” including John Rutter’s Requiem, Felix Mendelssohn’s Grant us They Peace and Psalm 42 and Mack Wilburg’s Peace Like a River. On Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 3pm at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Andover, the chorus will perform “Songs of World War I”, a concert in partnership with the Andover Historical Society to commemorate America’s entrance into the First World War. Each concert will be performed with a professional orchestra and soloists.
Andover Choral Society is a community chorus dedicated to bringing high-quality choral music to the Merrimack Valley community. We are a warm, friendly and welcoming group ranging across all ages, professions, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Our singers' experiences run the gamut from those who have sung in choruses for years to those who are trying it out for the first time. New members are always welcome!The chorus performs two concerts per year, with a repertoire that focuses on choral works from the Baroque era to the 21st century.
