Don't miss your chance to share this unique family musical! Perfectly timed for the beginning of the Easter season, ACT presents Godspell. The brainchild of Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, Godspell began life as Tebelak's Master's Thesis at Carnegie Mellon University, and grew into an opening off-Broadway in 1971.

The music is a wild and joyful mixture of gospel, vaudeville, folk, and rock, and brings to life the story of Jesus moving to build a community out of disparate people. The message of love and acceptance is universal, and so timely in a world that feels ever more divisive. Godspell's message is that we can be different, and still love one another and build community together. Rather than feeling preachy, Godspell feels like a toetapping dance through the the gospels of St. Luke and Matthew.

While Day By Day is the only song to hit the Billboard Top 40, most of the songs will be familiar to listeners, from the reflective and lovely By My Side, to the toetapping All For The Best, and the lively We Beseech Thee.
