Cormier Youth Center Will Be Polling Place For Precincts 1 & 3
The change was necessitated for 2020 and 2021 by renovation work at the senior center.

ANDOVER, MA — The Cormier Youth Center will serve as a polling place for precincts one and three, after the Select Board voted to approve the change at their Jan. 13 meeting. The change was caused renovation work at the Senior Center, the previous polling place. It covers 2020 and 2021.
The board voted unanimously to make the change. Town Clerk Austin Simko noted that, while the town will advertise the change extensively, the Youth Center's proximity to the Senior Center provides an advantage.
"If the message doesn't get through, and a voter were to show up to the senior center, we could have a sign that just says 'turn left,'" Simko said.

He explained that the town had discussed the change with the Cormier staff, and made sure it would cause as little disruption as possible. The lobby will be used, so that some programming can continue elsewhere in the building.
