Calling all writers (and aspiring writers)! Local author Kristin Bair O’Keeffe will teach a 6-week personal essay writing workshop at the Andover Bookstore.
The workshop runs on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm beginning on October 25th. It runs for 6 consecutive weeks (skipping Thanksgiving week). Class Cost: $220
About the Workshop: In the workshop, we’ll read and dissect a variety of personal essays… looking at the different forms a personal essay can take and breaking each down into manageable pieces. Students will do writing exercises, learn to look at their lives with fresh writerly eyes, generate lots of compelling material, hone their rewriting skills, and learn a bit about how to get their work out into the world.
