“Let’s Create: Mandalas” on Sunday, October 28 at 2:00 pm
Mandala, from Sanskrit meaning circle or whole, describes a circular design found not only in nature but also in Buddhist, Christian, and Native American sacred art traditions. In psychology, mandala is seen as a metaphor for the self. In this fun and relaxing workshop we will work with colors, shapes, and patterns to create our own mandalas using pen, pastel, colored pencil, and collage. The process of making mandalas allows us to listen to our inner spirit and to be present in the moment. Presented by Karen Beaver.
