Get Ready for the Spring 5K's with our "Couch to 5K" Program

This Andover Recreation program will allow you to ease into a running program gradually and to get ready for all those Spring 5K's!

Join Andover Recreation for their very popular Couch to 5K program which begins on Monday, March 26th.

Too many people are turned off to running simply by starting out too fast. This program will allow you to ease into a running program gradually. In fact, this beginners’ program is less of a running regimen and more of a walking and jogging program. Class will take place twice a week, with a third day routine sent home for you to do on your own. If you’re interested in putting your training to the test, this class is lined up with the Step Up for Colleen 5K in Andover! The idea is to transform you into the runner you’ve always imagined, and get you running 3.1 miles (5K) on a regular basis in no time!
