UPDATED: Horse Barn Roof Collapse on Jenkins Road, Horses Rescued
Jenkins Road was reopened on Sunday morning, according to Andover Police.

SECOND UPDATE: Jenkins Road was reopened just before 11:30 Sunday morning, according to Andover Police. All the rescued without harm, according to authorities.
“Everyone is safe and sound and literally uninjured. Just miraculous,” - Flying Horses Stable’s post on Facebook.

UPDATED: Andover Firefighters were on the scene this morning of a partial roof collapse on a horse barn on Jenkins Road. The collapse occurred just before 8 Sunday morning. There were initial reports that three horses were in the barn at the time of the roof collapse, but there were seven horses in the building at Flying High Stables, according to WBZ.
Authorities worked to shore up the collapsed part of the building before they attempted to get the horses out of the barn, according to reports. The Essex County Technical Rescue Team was summoned.

Jenkins Road will be closed between the North Reading line and Pipers Glen while rescue operations are going on, according to Andover Police.
Avoid the area, according to police.
