Maine Man Arrested In Andover, Charged With Drug Trafficking

Three people were charged with drug trafficking after Andover police observed them outside a local hotel.

ANDOVER, MA — Andover police arrested a Maine man following what appeared to be a drug deal, Thursday, the department said Monday. Police seized 380 grams of drugs and over $2,000 in cash. Three people were charged with drug trafficking.

Undercover detectives witnessed the interaction between two men and a woman outside a local hotel in the River Road area, the department said.

One man, who was from Maine, was arrested on a warrant and charged with trafficking over 10 grams of narcotics. The other two people were also charged with trafficking over 10 grams and given summons to court.
