Memorial Hall Library Rowing Class
Memorial Hall Library and the Friends of Memorial Hall Library will host a rowing class for teens and adults on June 11.
ANDOVER-- Memorial Hall Library and the Friends of Memorial Hall Library will host a rowing class for teens and adults on June 11 to coincide with the spirit of the library's featured book, 'Boys in the Boat.'
The class will take place at the Essex Rowing Club in Methuen from 10 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. Participants will first learn to row on machines before being taken outside to learn about the boats and row on the Merrimack River, according to the library's site.
The class will cost $10 and cash or checks, made out to the Friends of MHL, will be accepted in-person at the library. Teens must be accompanied by an adult.
