Middle School Learning Model Switch Requests Now Open In Andover Public School

Dear APS Middle School Parents & Guardians,

"At this time, parents/guardians of APS middle school students (grades 6-8) may request consideration for a hybrid or remote academy switch for their student. Requests should be submitted using the district’s hybrid/remote parent request form.

For APS middle school hybrid/remote switch requests, the deadline is Monday, March 8. The district will review each parent request in consultation with the school principal with careful consideration given to priority student needs, physical distancing, space limitations, staffing and schedules. The district will communicate decisions on switch requests and start dates directly to parents by/before March 17.

It is important to note that hybrid/remote switches will result in scheduling changes with different teachers and classes. In the event a hybrid/remote switch is not possible, the parent will be informed, and the district will maintain a centralized wait list for consideration at the next quarter."
