Missing Andover Man Found In Boston
The search for Robert Connelly included Andover, Tewksbury, Boston and MBTA Transit Police.
ANDOVER, MA — In the end, it wasn't the officers from the Andover, Tewksbury, Boston, MBTA Transit police or the 10 police dogs from the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council that found Robert Connelly. It was the Andover's man niece, who was reunited with her uncle in Boston at North Station nearly six hours after he was reported missing Sunday.
Connelly, whose age was not given, was reported missing after he failed to return to his River Road home after going out for a walk Sunday morning. When Andover Police confirmed a report that he had been seen boarding a subway at North Station in Boston around 4 p.m. Sunday, they contacted Boston and MBTA Transit police. At 4:30 p.m., they said he was safe and had been found by his niece at North Station.
