Nightmare On Elm Street? Andover Residents Brace For Another Detour
Nearby residents are worried about traffic on side streest and unclear whether the work will last two weeks or four weeks.

ANDOVER, MA -- Utility work will close the inbound side of Elm Street in Andover between Westwind Road and Burton Farm Drive for at least two weeks beginning Wednesday. While the outbound side of Elm Street will remain open, drivers in that direction should expect delays. Andover Police said in a Facebook post that the detour would be in place between 7 am and 6 pm beginning Wednesday.
Andover Police also said the work and the accompanying road closure is expected to last two weeks. But residents responding to the post said that a letter they had received said the work was going to take four weeks.
