No Injuries Reported In Andover School Bus Accident

Emergency medical personnel were on scene as a precaution, according to a town spokesperson.

ANDOVER, MA - A school bus carrying Andover High School students hit a minivan and crashed into a telephone pole around 2:20 pm Thursday afternoon. No injuries were reported to the driver or the 38 students on board, but emergency medical workers were on scene checking students before clearing them to go home.

"We are grateful there are no injuries as a result of this accident," Andover Public Schools spokesperson Nicole L. Kieser said.

Red Spring Road in Andover was closed to traffic as police conducted their investigation. School officials worked with parents on providing alternative transportation for the students on the bus Thursday afternoon.
