Nomination Papers Available For North Andover 2020 Town Election
Two seats on the board of selectmen are up for election, among other positions.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Nomination papers are now available for the 2020 North Andover town election, the town announced Thursday. Papers will be available until Friday, Feb. 7 and are due by 5 p.m. on Feb. 11, in the Town Clerk's office. Candidates need 50 signatures from registered North Andover voters to get on the ballot.
"It is suggested you obtain at least 60 signatures in case a few are not able to be certified by the Town Clerk’s office," according to the release.
The annual election will be on March 31, with March 11 as the deadline to register. You can register online at registertovotema.com, or at the Town Clerk's office, 120 Main Street.

The following seats are up for election:
- Board of Selectmen, two seats for a three-year term
- Housing Authority, one seat for a five year term
- Greater Lawrence Vocational School Rep, one seat for a three year term
- School Committee, two seats for a three-year term
