Stephen M. Korba, 59, of Andover, Mass., died Friday, February 20, 2015, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Stephen was born in Morristown, NJ, on May 21, 1955, to Stephen and Vilma (Rolko) Korba. He attended Phillips Academy Andover, was a graduate of Andover High School, and was the owner operator of Steve Korba Painting & Paperhanging.

Stephen loved music and was a well-known, local musician.
He is survived by his life partner, Cathryn Crowe; a son, Jackson Korba; and his two daughters, Emily Korba and Hannah Korba, all of Andover. Also among his survivors are his brother John Korba and his wife, Monique St. Amant of Portsmouth, N.H.; and his sister, Ellen Hanson and her husband, Eric Hanson of Starksboro, Vt.; as well as three nephews and one niece; and a close, loving extended family and circle of friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 26th, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on Friday, February 27th, at Old Town Hall, 20 Main St., Andover, from 6 to 10 p.m., and is open to all family and friends. In honor of Stephen’s wishes, plenty of food, drinks and music will be shared with all.
