Obituary: William R. Denoncourt, Lifelong Resident of Andover

Served in the Korean Conflict in Japan and Korea in the Finance Corps

William R. Denoncourt, 83, passed away on January 29, 2015 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House after a long illness. William was the son of Roland and Clarina (Boucher) Denoncourt. He was a life-long resident of Andover and attended the Andover schools, graduating from Punchard High in 1950. He served his country in the Korean Conflict in Japan and Korea in the Finance Corps and was honorably discharged in 1954. Bill loved gardening and his greenhouse. He loved to make cookies, expecially at Christmas, was a lover of all animals especially his birds and dogs, and a fan of New England sports especially the Patriots.

He is survived by his wife Constance (Moreau) of Andover, His son, William of Merrimack, N.H., daughter, Suzanne and James Cameron of Sandown, N.H. and son, James of Salem, N.H. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret (Carleton) Blake of Andover and his mother-in-law, Rita (Omer) Moreau, also Diane Denoncourt of Manchester, N.H. He is also survived by grand-daughters, Melissa Denoncourt and Patricia Denoncourt of Bradford, MA., Emma Denoncourt of Salem, N.H., a grand-son, Thomas Burns and his fiancé Courtney Blanchard of Auburn, N.H. His step-grandchildren Matthew, Brianna, and Kellie Cameron. His great-grandchildren Julian and Abigail Denoncourt of Bradford, MA.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 3rd at 12 NOON in the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover. Visitation will be held prior to his service from 10 to Noon.
