PHOTOS: Early Autumn at Vale Reservation
The leaves are turning at the Vale Reservation as the fall weather creeps in.
It has been a mild October so far, but signs of autumn are here at the Vale Reservation. An ongoing to build a truss bridge and a boardwalk to traverse the wetlands is nearly complete thanks to volunteers and the Andover Trails Committee. Work this year broke ground in April.
This AVIS trail is tucked in the heart of Ballardvale. The entrance is at the rear of the Balardvale MBTA stop's parking area. Be sure to pay for your parking so you don't get a ticket.
