Police Make Arrests for Lewd Conduct, Drug Possession

The following was provided by the Andover Police Department. Where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the log:

Wednesday, Nov. 16

  • At 6:36 a.m., police received a call about a suspicious motor vehicle in a River Road driveway. Police found it was a disabled motor vehicle that was pushed off the highway. An officer waited for a tow truck to arrive.
  • At 9:18 a.m., a motorist called police after another driver reportedly passed her car and spit at her on North Main Street. An officer took a report.
  • At 10:03 a.m., a Bateson Drive resident called police about a person looking into neighbor’s trash. Police were unable to locate the person.
  • At 10:17 a.m., police received a call from Old River Road after a syringe was found outside a building. An officer disposed the item.
  • At 12:49 p.m., a Pine Street resident reported that a neighbor told her that a light was on in her vacant home, but she said all utilities had been shut off. An officer found the doors were secure.
  • At 4:09 p.m., police received a call about a large tree limb hanging over Highland Road. Police notified the Tree Department.
  • At 7:05 p.m., a Wild Rose Drive resident reported identity theft.
  • At 7:06 p.m., a Colonial Drive resident called police about harassing text messages.
  • At 8:08 p.m., police arrested Jonathan Stoun, 26, 177 North Main St., Concord, NH, and charged him with indecent exposure, trespassing, lewd, wanton and lascivious conduct, and disorderly conduct. Merrimack College Security picked up Stoun on Fox Hill Road and transported him to Andover Police.

  • At 2:41 a.m., police received a call from Robandy Road about a suspicious motor vehicle in the area. Police arrived and found it was a newspaper delivery person.
  • At 3:53 a.m., a Dascomb Road resident called police after someone reportedly tried to enter a home. Police took a report about the incident.
  • At 8:05 a.m., police received a report about a wallet being stolen from Latitude Sports Club the previous night.
  • At 12:13 p.m., police arrested John J. Almeida, 25, 6 Green Briar Drive, Apt. 305, North Reading, and charged him with possession of Class A and E substances. Police made the arrest on River Road during a traffic stop.
  • At 2:18 p.m., an Acorn Drive resident reported a sick raccoon falling over in his yard. Police asked him to contact Animal Control if the raccoon was still there in the morning.
  • At 5:06 p.m., police received a call from River Road after a deer was struck.
  • At 8:58 p.m., police received a call about a deer being struck on Route 125 near Route 28.
