Police: Man Found Dead In Andover Woods Killed NH Couple

A high-speed chase involving Andover Police on Sunday and the discovery of a body on Monday morning is tied to a double-murder.

ANDOVER, MA -- Officials identified the man found dead Monday in a wooded area of Andover near the Merrimack River as Zachary Gloudemans, 34, of Hooksett, NH. Gloudemans, who hanged himself, was wanted in the murder of June Cosma, 79, and Thomas Cosma, 80, of Hooksett, who were found dead Monday from blunt force trauma to the head after Andover police requested a wellness check of the couple.

On Sunday, Andover police chased a car registered to the Cosmas and believed to be driven by Gloudemans near the Andover-Lawrence line. The car was later found abandoned in Lawrence.

Gloudemans had been staying at a home near where the Cosmas lived. The case is still under investigation and investigators are trying to determine whether Gloudemans knew the victims before killing them.
