At this time, parents/guardians of grades 6-8 students may request consideration for a hybrid or remote academy switch for their student. Requests should be submitted using the district’s hybrid/remote parent request form.

For grades 6-8 hybrid/remote switch requests, the deadline is November 24. The district will review each parent request in consultation with school principals with careful consideration given to priority student needs, physical distancing, space limitations, transportation, staffing and schedules. The district will communicate decisions on switch requests and start dates directly to parents by/before December 11.
It is important to note that hybrid/remote switches will result in scheduling changes with a different team of teachers and classes, and in some cases, may result in different school assignments for the remainder of the school year. In the event a hybrid/remote switch is not possible, the parent will be informed, and the district will maintain a centralized wait list for consideration at the next term.
