Sandlot T-Ball League

Ages 4-6
This instructional league is designed for boys and girls just starting out in baseball. Players will be taught how to properly throw, catch, and hit the ball each week. Parent volunteers along with REC staff will lead a 30 minute practice followed by 30 minutes of instructional game play. Players will bat every inning and every player will play the field during each inning. Each participant will receive a t-shirt uniform and rosters and schedules will be emailed out the week of April 17. A late fee of $10 will be added to registrations after April 17. Please bring a glove, labeled with child’s name on it.

Sports Leagues
These programs focus on introducing children to a team & game environment, while reinforcing the fundamentals of each sport. At each session, children will be able to participate in skill building drills followed by a 30 minute game. Through this process children will better understand the concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, and game play, which will help to make every child’s experience on the court or field a fun one! A t-shirt uniform is included in each sports league.
Volunteer Coaching
We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to be a volunteer coach. Your commitment is only one hour per week for either sports league. REC relies on parent volunteer coaches to make these leagues successful.
