The Savings Bank to Sponsor Free First Time Homebuyer Seminar in Andover, March 22nd

Merrimack Valley residents who are preparing for the purchase of their first home are invited to a free First Time Homebuyer Seminar at The Savings Bank’s Andover Office, 84 Main Street, on Wednesday evening, March 22^nd from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The seminar is an opportunity for Merrimack Valley area residents preparing for the purchase of their first home to receive professional guidance to better understand what is involved in the homebuying process, including if now is the right time to buy.

The seminar will feature local professionals who will discuss their areas of expertise in the home buying process, with a focus on qualifying for a mortgage and preparing the first-time homebuyer to become an informed buyer. Attendees will also receive information about the special financing options available to first-time home buyers at The Savings Bank, as well as the important role of the mortgage officer, real estate broker, conveyance attorney, and home inspector. Information will also be available about affordable housing opportunities through MassHousing and the ONE Mortgage program.

Speakers will include Attorney Mark Simeola, of the law firm of Simeola & Simeola; home inspector Ray Jackson, Jackson Home Inspection; real estate agent Cathy Johnson from Coldwell Banker in Andover; Vice President/Senior Retail Loan Officer Jeff D’Alessandro, The Savings Bank; and Mortgage Originators Jeff Sarkisian and Mario Giamei, The Savings Bank.
