Special for Passover: Chocolate Flourless Torte

Prepare for Passover with this simple recipe.

A great way to prepare for Passover is by preparing this absolutely decadent flourless chocolate torte. It will be remembered long after Passover has passed and the ingredients are simple; there are only 3.

-8 eggs

- 2 sticks of butter(unsalted)

- 3 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips(1 1/2 bags)

You will start the process with an 8" parchment lined spring-form pan placed in a larger baking pan (bain de marie), a bowl to beat the eggs (4-6 minutes until about triple in volume) and  a second bowl to melt the chocolate chips and butter (3-5min on medium in microwave stirring in between).

Then gently fold the egg mixture into the melted chocolate. When fully incorporated pour into the springform pan and bake for 45 minute at 325 degrees in the bain de marie.

This is a great way to end the Passover seder, after the reading of the Haggadah (the story of the Exodus), eating the bitter herbs (remembering the bitter tears of slavery), the drinking of the wine (celebrating freedom), and then eating of this most wonderful chocolate cake (appreciating the freedom). We hope all Jewish families and friends will share, enjoy, remember and celebrate the upcoming week of Passover.
