Tewksbury Coronavirus Update: 61 Confirmed Cases, 10 Recovered
The number of coronavirus cases in Tewksbury continues to increase.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury has 61 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Tuesday, the town said. Ten residents have recovered while the other cases remain active.
The number of cases almost doubled from Friday, when there 31.
For privacy reasons, the town does not release any information about the coronavirus patients. Public health officials conduct follow-up with the patients' contacts.

"All citizens who are in a position to do so, please stay at home as much as possible or limit your person-to-person contact," the town asked. "By practicing physical distancing, you will protect yourself and others."
As of Wednesday, there are over 16,000 cases of the new virus in Massachusetts.
