Flanagan will earn over $200,000 annually, under the new contract approved by the selectmen on Jan. 13.

ANDOVER, MA — Andrew Flanagan was reappointed to serve another five year's as Andover's town manager, at the Select Board's recent meeting. The board voted at their Jan. 13 meeting to re-appoint Flanagan, who was first hired in 2015. He will receive a salary of $214,000, along with annual deferred compensation of $12,000.
Flanagan agreed to contribute one percent of his salary—$2,140—to the town's unfunded liability offset, Select Board Chair Laura Gregory said at the meeting. The board entered a brief executive session to discuss the appointment, before voting unanimously for Flanagan's contract.
"I want to thank the board for giving me the opportunity to continue to serve here," Flanagan said. "I'm proud of what we've been able to do together over the last five years."
