ANDOVER, MA -- The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will begin night work between 9 pm and 5 am on Monday at the bridge over the MBTA tracks on Route 28 in Andover. On Thursday, August 9, crews will also change the traffic pattern over the bridge and will temporarily remove the dedicated left turn lane from Route 28 north onto Railroad Avenue.
Overnight work is expected to last for six weeks. The temporary traffic pattern change is expected to last until the beginning of September. Crews have been working since last fall on a project to replace the bridge.
