'Works Hard And Puts Others' Interests First': Andover Patch Hero

ANDOVER, MA — In hard times, many step up to help others. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

She's a student.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
During this pandemic and a time when school activities are canceled, friends are distanced from one another, my high school daughter has found a way to help others by supporting the Lazarus House.

Bianca and her friend Ava DiVincenzo raised hundreds to help Lazarus House with its food pantry needs.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She may be my daughter and thus biased, but she is an incredible young woman who works hard and puts others' interests first. My wife and I are incredibly proud of the young woman she has become.
