2 Males, One with Knife, Assault Female Teen on Minuteman Bike Path
Arlington Police have arrested a juvenile in connection with a past assault on the bike path.

Two males, one with a knife, assaulted an 18-year-old female Tuesday night on the Minuteman bike path, near Thorndike Field in East Arlington, in an attempt to steal her bike, according to police.
The victim was able to get away on her bicycle, police said. The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m.
The suspects were described as a white male, about 6-foot-4 with dark hair and a buzz cut with stubble, wearing a white T-shirt, dark cargo pants and possibly Nike sneakers, and another white male, about 6-foot with a buzz cut and neatly trimmed beard, wearing a dark blue T-shirt and dark sweat pants.

Arlington Police also announced Wednesday evening that an investigation has led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male juvenile in connection with an attempted robbery in this area on Aug. 14. The juvenile was charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery, police said.
Police said they will have increased patrols in this area.

On Aug 6, two masked men robbed a man at knifepoint in this area, and on Aug. 5, two males jumped another male on the bike path, between Mystic and Mill streets.
