We've got the top 25 (metrowestdailynews.com) — Ashland residents can now see who topped the town payroll in 2025, with public safety employees dominating the list and the town manager and school superintendent as the two highest earners. Several Ashland Public Schools leaders, including the high school principal, also ranked among the top 25, with seven municipal employees earning more than $200,000 last year.
   

• Middlesex Sheriff's Office Celebrates Successful 25th Season of its Youth Public Safety Academy (thereadingpost.com) — Ashland kids were among 513 cadets from across Middlesex County who spent a week at the Youth Public Safety Academy learning about police, fire, emergency preparedness, and first aid. Hosted by the Middlesex Sheriff's Office in Chelmsford, the long-running summer program mixed hands-on safety lessons with leadership-building activities and visits from partners like the State Police Air Wing and National Guard.
