Pincushion Hill Montessori School

Pincushion Hill Montessori School has welcomed MetroWest families since 1962, in Ashland, MA. Since its founding, the school has provided a nurturing environment for children ages 18 months to 6 years, fostering independence and a lifelong love of learning. The school offers year-round enrollment for its Toddler and Children’s House programs, as well as a comprehensive kindergarten curriculum.

The curriculum focuses on authentic Montessori work, covering reading, writing, mathematics, sciences, history, and the arts. Lessons are carefully sequenced to match each child's individual readiness rather than their age, ensuring a personalized academic experience. The school is led by an AMS-certified Head of School who holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, reflecting a deep commitment to rigorous academic standards and the Montessori method.

Families can expect a community-focused atmosphere where children are encouraged to flourish through hands-on exploration and social development. Prospective parents are invited to schedule an observation tour to experience the classroom environment firsthand and learn more about the school's unique approach to early childhood education.
