(add)ventures Team Gains Attleboro Talent

New team members and residents of Attleboro, Lauren Roche and Jim Young, enhance the firm's digital and creative capabilities.

Providence-based multidisciplinary brand culture and communications firm (add)ventures welcomes new talent to its Digital team with the addition of two new professionals. Lauren Roche, of Attleboro, Mass., joins as the manager, digital/strategy, and Jim Young, of Attleboro, Mass., joins as a developer, engineering/digital.

As manager, digital/strategy, Roche is responsible for developing content strategy, conducting competitive market analysis and creating user personas, as well as implementing and optimizing digital content. Prior to joining (add)ventures, Roche worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as an information architect, where she was responsible for the content entry of existing and new websites, linking strategies, benchmarking competitors, creating content inventories, site mapping, creating wireframes and usability testing. Roche holds a bachelor’s degree in web design and interactive media from the New England Institute of Art.

As web developer, engineering/digital, Young supports the digital team—delivering pixel-perfect, functionally excellent web and mobile experiences for client partners. Through collaboration with information architects and designers, Young develops prototypes, supports technology initiatives and works diligently to problem solve as needed. Prior to joining (add)ventures, Young was a web developer at The Providence Journal where he managed daily customizations and enhancements to the newspaper’s online presence. He also designed and programmed the website’s new mobile version. Prior to this position, Young implemented and customized the third party forums program for Barefoot Books as a web developer, and worked on web design maintenance and development with Root Seven Technologies and HomeBin Realty. Young earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa in computer information systems.
