ALEX AND ANI Host Joe Andruzzi Foundation (Up)Beat Opportunity at NYC Rihanna Concert

On Wednesday, March 30th, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to providing emotional and financial support to cancer patients and their families when it is needed most, held an (Up)Beat Opportunity for Foundation beneficiaries. The event was sponsored by ALEX AND ANI which hosted a V.I.P. reception at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY for 45 cancer patients and guests.

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation believes patients and their families can greatly benefit from the relief of cancer’s financial and emotional burdens, which, in turn, allows them to focus on what really matters: getting better and enjoying life.

At the forefront of JAF’s (Up)Beat Cancer mantra is the Foundation’s ongoing series of (Up)Beat Opportunities – events and gatherings organized to help take patients’ minds off of treatment, even if just for an evening.

Many of the families attending JAF (Up)Beat Opportunities are battling through extraordinary circumstances, and being mentally removed – like a night out at a concert – provides patients and families with much-needed opportunities to relax and smile.
